KITCHEN MAKEOVER

A former client at Carrs Park, Sydney asked me to return and advise on a long-awaited wish to update their kitchen. Avid cooks, the family was feeling at odds with the outdated kitchen since the decorating of their home and certainly didn’t feel it functioned as their dream space. Following the existing layout and working with the flooring a new kitchen took shape.

New modern cupboards and draws, retaining the much-needed corner pantry all in low sheen Dulux ‘Cobblestone’. Benchtops and backsplash in Caesarstone ‘Empire’, whilst the larger island countertop and waterfall - ‘Everest’ Quantum Quartz. 

Perfect tones to blend with the existing flooring. Also being available as a consultant for the purchase of items such as sink, taps and cooktop gave them the confidence they needed.

Advising on the purchase of barstools added colour and comfort to the kitchen that extends from the large dining and living area. After a vigilant search a final purchase to add ‘soul’ - a small original painting ‘Oriental Lilies’ by Gillian Johnston, box framed in Tassie oak.
